On the date on the record, the agent’s NPN existed in the NIPR producer lookup, each listed state license was active in that state’s record, and the names matched. The record shows the date so you know how fresh the check is.
It is not a recommendation, a rating, or a guarantee of good conduct. Licenses can lapse after a check. It does not confirm carrier appointments, which agents attest to themselves. For anything that matters, confirm current status with your state’s department of insurance.
Each verified agent has a record page with a permanent ID, the date of the check, the states covered and links to repeat the lookup yourself. Their page carries the same ID. If the two do not match, do not trust the page.
We read the same public records you can. If an agent is not listed here, these lookups will still tell you whether they are licensed. Every state and the District of Columbia is on the full list.
If a page here shows a license that is no longer active, a name that does not match the record, or someone impersonating a listed agent, tell us. Pages are taken down while we re-check.
